This survey is part of the International Symposium on Transformative Ocean Sciences for implementing the Ocean Pact, held in Venice, Italy, on 24–27 March 2026.
We invite you to participate in the survey on Transformative Ocean Science for the implementation of the European Ocean Pact.
This survey aims to collect the views of ocean scientists, early-career researchers, PhD students, and professionals on the challenges and priority actions needed to support Transformative Ocean Science for the implementation of the European Ocean Pact. The questionnaire also seeks to identify the main knowledge gaps in current ocean science and observation systems, and to better understand their underlying structural and systemic causes in relation to the challenges associated with implementing the Ocean Pact.
The results will inform the collaborative work carried out in the context of the Symposium and will contribute to the drafting of a policy brief for decision-makers
